Crafted in the heart of the Leeds music scene, Central Arcade is a five-piece indie-alt rock sensation. Following on from the success of previous singles: Hideaway and Talk to Me, the boys are now back with another anthemic single ‘Red Light’ released on the 24th July.
Taking influence from many of the great artists who are shaping the indie music scene; such as Sam Fender, Blossoms, Tom Grennan and Catfish and The Bottlemen. Central Arcade is following in the footsteps of the many they take inspiration from – Leeds today, tomorrow Europe.
I have to say, I played this song on repeat. It’s a new favourite. The catchy melody combined with the fast-paced lyrics addressing the reality of current world issues, ‘commanding silence to the ones who choose to speak’ has in turn created a strong indie anthem which made me draw similarities to the Magic Gang.
Ones to watch, I shall be keeping an eye out for one of their epic gigs – an unforgettable performance!
