Luna Bay - Misunderstood

Indie-rock quartet Luna Bay is back with a brand-new isolation banger, ‘Misunderstood’ available for streaming now!

The London based band have had a hell of a journey so far, supporting some big names such as The Academic and Declan Mckenna. Then releasing their first self-titled EP back in November and selling out a huge headline show at London’s Scala. However, things are only just heating up as I’m sure the release of ‘Misunderstood’ will cause tidal waves amongst its listeners.

A heavenly summer tune, ‘Misunderstood’ is a delight to your ears, a feel-good anthem with

the band's intention of releasing it to bring positivity to people around the

world. How lovely ay? From start to finish, the band’s buzzing energy supplies

an intoxicating rhythm, which then highlights the anthemic chorus in all its

glory. A memorable tune which will be stuck on a loop in your head and on your Spotify

for days.

Frontman Connor, speaks about the creation of ‘Misunderstood’:

“We were set to go and record a couple of new songs with Dan Weller at the start of April. However, due to the lockdown, the recording session was obviously cancelled. This meant we had to improvise and adapt with how we could get some new material out.

Misunderstood was written and recorded in Rye’s bedroom, the song was so fun to write, it all just seemed to fall into place over two days. We then sent the stems to Dan to be mixed. We hope that it brings people a bit of joy right now.”
