Hitting the ground running, noyou burst onto the North-East music scene back in 2019, with their first release ‘The War’ and have gone from strength to strength ever since.
Now, the fantastic Sunderland six-piece has released ‘We’re So Sorry’ back on the 30th July.
What I love about this band, is they are unapologetically truthful and authentic – writing about topics which people tend to shy away from, and in this track, this is more of a real story. With a warm synthy, fuzzy, fun rock style – frontman Conor shares his feelings about racism and how he is unsure what to do. But, through the music the message is simple – hopefully, things will change.
“All I can say, is we’re so sorry”
You’ll love it, noyou have created a song which will transport you far away musically but with a serious message.
It’s no wonder the six-piece have caused quite a stir in the North-east music scene, performing in some of the North’s most well-known venues such as Independent (Sunderland), Riverside (Newcastle) and The Cluny (Newcastle).
With their music also featuring on BBC Introducing, it’s only a matter of time before noyou blows up and are the names on everyone's lips.
So don’t be late to the party, give ‘We’re So Sorry’ a listen below:
